The latest movie to catch our eye as a great opportunity to examine audience behavior was romantic comedy Long Shot. In this audience evolution report, we found:
- The title seems to be playing as a much more ‘high brow’ comedy than the typical Seth Rogan title, with audiences most similar to A Star is Born, The Upside, and Green Book.
- This difference shows up in the demographic attending the movie, with Long Shot skewing much older, more Caucasian, and more evenly split between the genders than prior Seth Rogen comedies.
- Interestingly, it seems as though the core Seth Rogan demographic turned up opening night, but quickly changed to the more ‘high brow’ audience by end of opening weekend.
